FACTS
What is Facts ?, What is Fake ? And What is Reality ?
"Facts" are what we human beings declare to be real. The word "fact" is a status that we confer on something which we believe to be indubitable. Perhaps, you are confusing facts with truths. Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored. We cannot accord them this status of existence. Truth occurs when that which we “think” or “say” about a subject corresponds correctly with the “fact” of that subject, or anyhow justified.
"Facts: something that is known to have happened or to exist, especially something for which proof exists/about which there is information. "
I have noticed some scientists/scholars to equate reality to facts and facts to reality with assertion. In my opinion using them synonymously is a fallacy which must be consciously avoided, because in Facts are statements about some events or circumstances that exist or that have occurred. Facts are observable, verifiable and indisputable whatever measure of reason and logic is applied to or reject them.
Reality (Constructed, Objective, Subjective, Empirical, Instrumental and other Realities) is nothing but a collective opinion - an idea in which some confidence is placed/a reasonable collective representation of “The way things are.” Reality is not simply acknowledged, but must be discovered or reasoned and is liable to falsification.
For example: we know it is fact day will come after night. It is a fact that the Earth rotates on its axis resulting in day and night. It can be verified or observed from space. It also can be verified that the Earth revolves around the Sun. On the basis of these two facts we reckon time. But, what is reality of time? To some it is linear, to some opinions it is cyclic and to some it is fractal. To convince one of one of these three realities of time, it is to be reasoned out on the base of some facts.
Whenever we see some new fact that may contradict the prevailing theory. one must abandon the conflicting ideas and never ignore the fact, the theory is modified in order to integrate them into the same, apparel and new ideas. It is concluded that theories evolve by the discovery of new facts, which necessarily become part of the evolved version of the same.
In fact: the scientific thought is always superior to the idea, and the fact you can always destroy - saying correctly, make false - the scientific idea. Therefore, as a scientific theory always formed from testable and falsifiable hypotheses, there is always the possibility of appearing a fact that may change the setting previously valid.
Facts and Myth
The basic difference between fact and myth is the ability to gather scientific evidence to support a fact. For instance, we say smoking causes lung cancer. Until the medical science community was able to document and scientifically prove, beyond a doubt, that smoking cigarettes directly contributes to lung cancer, it was considered a myth.
The origin between fact and myth can also be considered a difference. Myths are often derived through word of mouth, or the reliance on being passed down from generation to generation. For instance, it has been said that eating hot pepper will help cure the flu. This has been traditionally handed down from one generation to the next, without any scientific back-up.
Myths commonly start, or are passed on, through the form of a story. The most glaring example of this is Greek or Roman mythology. The stories that were translated during these times were done so in order to help explain something that could not, at that point, be explained through scientific reasoning.
This brings us to the reason for their development. Myths are generally started to explain away something, or to give a sense of understanding or control over something. Whether you’re talking about an angry Zeus to explain a typhoon, or you’re speaking of a hot pepper remedy for the flu, there is an air of human contribution. We all want to be able to feel we understand and control our environment, at least on a personal level. Facts are derived, often by accident, by simply gathering evidence to explain something. There is not supposed to be an air of human quality. The disassociation from the answer, makes it all the more objective, provable, and reliable.
Just because something is considered a myth, does not make it false. Generally, a myth cannot be disproved, just as it cannot be proven. To some, the concept of heaven is a myth, simply because proving or disproving its existence is rather impossible in this life. On the other hand, a false fact can be disproven. When people believed that the world was flat, they took it as fact. By being able to disprove the fact, the opposite actually became the new fact.

"You don't have to miss this! Using this article twice a day will completely change your life"
These headlines might be a bit obvious as being fake, and if you've been online at any time, you've probably seen on just like them. So what exactly is this "fake news" you keep hearing about on TV, the web and in social media? And how do you know if what you see is fact or fake? It's important for everyone, especially kids, to learn how to tell what's real online.
There's so much fake news online, but there are some media literacy skills that can
be used to learn to view what you read with a critical eye. Think about these questions when you look at a piece of media.
➤Who made this? Is it a website you know and trust?
➤Is this the only place you'll find this story? If no one else knows about it, then it might be fake.
➤Who might benefit or be harmed by this message?
➤How does it make you feel? Fake stories try to get strong reaction so if the story you're reading makes you really angry, it could be fake.
➤Is this credible and what makes you think that? If it's a story about a miracle cure for a major disease, be skeptical.
➤Is it a comedy or satire website? Some websites look like a regular news site, but the stories are all made to get a laugh. You need to check and make sure — they usually say it right up front.
